I'm with you. I love Columbo, but Kojak is the man! I own every episode on DVD, and I have such fond memories of that show. Savalas's performance, plus the fact that it took place in New York, my hometown, makes it a sentimental favorite of mine. And there's the bonus that it stars the very best of the Blofelds! ajb007/bond

I really must try to get into it more but it was repeated never on TV when I was younger whereas Columbo was so hence I love Columboajb007/smile  ajb007/martini

Re: "Just One More Thing.." - The COLUMBO Discussion Thread

Watched A Stitch In Crime yesterday. Leonard Nimoy was brilliant as Dr Barry Mayfield, one of my favourite Columbo villains. Loved the bit where Mayfield laughs in Columbo's face after Columbo accuses him of killing one of the nurses he worked with ( which he did). In a rare display of anger, Columbo picks up a jug of water and slams it on Mayfield's desk and making him jump.

Have you ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?"

" I don't listen to hip hop!"

Re: "Just One More Thing.." - The COLUMBO Discussion Thread

I agree, Nimoy was brilliant there!

Doesn't he drive that gorgeous Mercedes S there as well?

Whenever I am watching a Columbo episode, I have to think, that those really where a showcase for actors/actresses who could escape from their typecasting - and many did!

I also remember David Pleasence being a phantastic villain in "Any Port of a Storm"  ajb007/cheers
