Brian Blessed would make a fantastic Sir Hugo Drax in a faithful adaptation of the Moonraker novel anyhow.  ajb007/smile

I remind them  of  Brian Blessed, ..... my big mouth, might also help !  ajb007/biggrin

in fact I was thinking of using Brian as my new avatar, but for the problems with loading

There'd probably be a problem uploading the sound file for Brian Blessed anyway as it's bound to be massive!  ajb007/biggrin

He's positively fuming! I think it's time they put hezza back in his Box and wheeled out Willy Hague for some light relief  ajb007/smile
I do feel a bit sorry for Gove tho, he's only doing what his wife is telling him to do, now he's lost his mate who's very popular and dynamite at a dinner party,  he won't be allowed to go the pub after work  and he'll have his wife continually reminding him how he'd be nothing without her for the rest of his life. Poor little man.

Re: The Race for the Tory Leadership and Premiership [Johnson the new PM]

Poor old Boris, stitched up by goves wife, torpedoed by cameron, hated by Higgins and verbally mauled by hezza, not a good week for him all in all. It would be just his luck to get knocked of his bike by one of those busses he commitioned on his way home.
Didn't that mace carry on go down as one of parliaments most grave disorders?

Yes, it was very  naughty, and Hezza also stood against Maggie, so it's a bit
odd for him to  go on about loyalty.

Ah yes, hezza bringing down the iron lady was very naughty.  It took the tories years to shake off that machiavellian image, until right up until Teflon Tony Blair turned up  ajb007/biggrin

Gordon Brown's just as much to blame as he authorised the money for the Iraq War and signed off on it as Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Re: The Race for the Tory Leadership and Premiership [Johnson the new PM]

I think the term is plausible deniability..... There is nothing plausible about either Gordo or Tone,  and Silhouette Man is right Gordos going to get it. I'm sure Gordon Brown taught jezza Corbyn how to be a labour leader, " listen jeremy if you ever get outvoted,  lose an election or your party just don't like you anymore just close your eyes,  shake your head and cling onto power for all your worth..... Got it? "

Re: The Race for the Tory Leadership and Premiership [Johnson the new PM]

It seems to me Theresa May is the best candidate to be the next PM.
Boris Johnson is ....... very  entertaining.
Michael Gove is clearly has all the warmth of a snowman and the loyalty of Judas Iscariot.

May was pro-EU, but she didn't join the mud-fight and seem to have made no enemies.  She is very experienced and could be candidate most could accept. Any comments?
