Hi guys just to let you know I have now received the new JV suede racer jacket .
I am having a little trouble uploading the pictures on this site so I've sent them to jared nomak to upload on here.
You will see that my original JV jacket has been well worn the new one is slightly darker in colour which is no bad thing if you really want to wear it quite a lot ,
The herringbone stitching on the new jacket appears to be a slightly thinner gauge stitching than on the original jacket.
But that aside all of the stitching on the seams and round the pockets is identical to the original jacket including the inner lining , there is a slight difference on the inside behind the zip on the new jacket it has a suede panel on the original jacket it was a kind of nylon fabric.
Also the suede used on the new jacket feels slightly thicker to touch than on the original jacket but this might be due to the fact that I have worn my original jacket quite a lot .
So is it worth the price tag well in my opinion yes if you do not have one or cannot get hold of one of the original jackets or if you're like me you have an original jacket and you have worn it quite a lot then yes it's best to have a back up and for those of you that didn't buy one originally then yes I would definitely buy one now .
P.S in the pictures of the jackets The original one appears to look slightly Grey in colour this is just a trick of the light and the fact that if you brush suede in a different Direction it will look slightly lighter or darker.
