...and if I have a closer look, the collar is different too. To my eyes the new version has a slightly more spread collar. Overall stitching of the shirt looks different as well...
But I am a fan of stretch clothing. Simply comfortable. Thanks for the discount code.

And 99.9% of their customers for these shirts couldn't care less about the percentage of silk not being screen accurate to Bond 25. The look of the shirt will matter big time to casual Bond fans — not the fabric.

The TB website advertises these as new colors, not a new design, which is another reason to think there won't be a SA re-release next year as planned. (Maybe someone here has a source, though.) But hey, people are free to wait or continue hunting on the web for the SA version.

I'm not a collector and what matters to me is that the shirt looks cool. I just thought some here might appreciate a discount.

Thanks Cheverain!

Discount code worked like a charm!  I was able to buy a white in both the new and old version so when I get it, will get the pictures posted.  Of course I had to buy a black one!

Well, what do you know! I happily stand corrected.  ajb007/smile  ajb007/smile  ajb007/smile

Thanks for reaching out to them, Steve.

Now the question for me is do I return the one I bought today? For $86 it could see me through the next 7 months.

Re: No Time To Die wardrobe: possible spoilers

Thanks to Myself and Cheverian for the updates.

I look at it this way; if DC or the costumers were shopping today for the same shirt, this is the one we’d all eventually be scrambling to buy.  I’m into wearing versus collecting, and if TB views this new blend as an improvement to the durability of the piece, I’ll take it.  The whole Catalina collection went this way.  I took the same view with the BR peacoat revision.

In the meantime, bring on 2020!

I edit, therefore I am.

Re: No Time To Die wardrobe: possible spoilers

This seems to be a lighter summer version of the Catalina shirt

According to what was said before, the original %100 silk version is coming out early next year.

So if you want to be SA, you gotta wait. If not, this is close enough

Re: No Time To Die wardrobe: possible spoilers

We haven’t really seen much thus far have we? Two outfits in Jamaica (and one of those was just trunks and a grey t-shirt), and two suits in the typical TF O’Connor style. We must be on the cusp of some additional revelations. The only surprising item we’ve seen to date is a tie bar...

I rather like that we have the Living Daylights callback of the Aston V8 and the Sperrys boat shoes! ajb007/smile Did Bond wear them in any other films?

I don't know if it's an age thing, but TD's casual style in LD is pretty much the way I dress when I'm not in suit or other working clothes.  ajb007/crap

Oh! one caveat, the fit of my clothes is better!!!!

Well it was the 80s! ajb007/smile When Bond and Felix get together there’s an awful lot of baggy windcheater action onscreen to deal with.

I just this Friday had an outing with the Wife-person, and I had beige, on beige with black shirt and Sperrys. Later in the evening, she complained that my look was insufferably dull, and when I explained to her that it was ok for a Bond, her reaction was "And which Bond was that!?" I had no courage to answer....  ajb007/crap

Try surprising her with this outfit tonight. Then see if she complains about your next outfit being insufferably dull again...  ajb007/biggrin

Re: No Time To Die wardrobe: possible spoilers

In the title reveal video Bond steps out wearing what is likely this films dinner suit, what details can you guys make out?

If my eyes don't mistake me I spy gauntlet cuffs on the sleeves! It's a good time to be a fan of Connery's Bond's wardrobe details, considering cocktail cuffs are back too.

Plus no vents or at least side vents make it an instant improvement on the last two dinner suits he's worn. I've got to say, improved fits for the suits and classic details are making me excited for the new films wardrobe

I think it looks a lot like the Skyfall dinner jacket, with the addition of gauntlet cuffs. I also think it regrettably has a single vent in the back, but it’s difficult to tell.

Re: No Time To Die wardrobe: possible spoilers

I think this walk-in was shot last year in Italy maybe alongside the Heineken commercial. The suit‘s the same.

The name is Walker by the way.

Nope. It looks like this one has a shawl collar, like in Quantum of Solace. That may be the closest to what we're seeing here since it also had Tom Ford's signature gauntlet cuffs.

Looks like he is wearing boots with laces. Could be the C&J Tetbury. But with a tuxedo???
