No Time To Die wardrobe: possible spoilers

Since its now confirmed that Craig's returning in Bond 25, do you think that could mean a return of the same brands of the previous two films or something radically different? Is there anything from the current season of a established Bond brand that looks like something he would wear? I think its more then likely Tom Ford will be returning, if so would you like the suiting to be similar to SF and SP or something new? What's your wardrobe wish list for Bond 25? There's so many questions :))

    He's got to don the uniform if it's his final outing doesn't he?! Maybe that's the plan for a stunning nautical pre-credit sequence.....

    A proper ivory dinner jacket/black peak lapel dinner suit would be nice.
    I'd love for him to don the uniform, or at the very least a double breasted blazer.
    a reasonable rate of return

    Same as in SPECTRE hopefully. The clothes is one of the few things they got right in all films.

    And for Pete's sake put Craig in the Commander's uniform.

    If they change the costume designer, all bets are off. That said, I think Tom Ford items are a sure thing either way.

    As for a wish list, I'd like to see, in no particular order:

    (1) a double breasted dinner jacket in ivory or midnight blue;
    (2) a navy blazer;
    (3) a safari jacket, if location appropriate;
    (4) a grenadine tie;
    (5) a tweed sports jacket, if location appropriate;

    if all else fails, I'll settle for suits that actually fit (!) and a continuation of the excellent sweaters and casual jackets from Craig's other films.

    Great thread Walther -{
    I'd like to see him in a black leather Matchless Kensington, I think he suits a leather jacket and for an action sequence it would work, plus I already have one :D

    Id love to see a return to the more cr/qos style wardrobe which was more appropriate to his situations ie less suits, the suiting in qos was spot on possibly the rise on the trousers was too low but I much prefered it to the sf/sp suiting.
    I'm sure Tom Ford will be back and I'm fine with that, but wouldn't it be nice to see bond in an Anthony Sinclair or gieves and hawkes suit?

    Put him in a Commanders RN Uniform and Courts Marshall for deserting with Doris in SPECTRE :D
    God knows how he got away without one given all his previous history!!

    Simples :D

    I would like to see Craig in a Naval outfit as well, and also in more cocktail cuff shirts. If Crockett & Jones returns I guess he will wear the Alex with his dinner jacket again like in both SF and SP.

    I think with DCs influence the only chance of changing from TF would be Cucinelli. Jany appears to really gush over TF though.

    I think we will see a return to a black dinner jacket ala CR but a slim cut TF version.

    Would be shocked if CJ were dropped for the shoes.

    Not keen on Matchless at all so hope they dont go down that route again

    If Brunello Cucinelli do Bond, they'd have to match Tom Ford's deal. But I think they'd be completely inappropriate to suit James Bond. I can't picture Bond going to see M in one of their suits. At least Tom Ford has a very British look.

    Didnt Jany refer to them as a "sponsor". Sounds like TF relationship is very strong and they appear willing to replicate anything also

    Personally, I'd be fine with TF providing the suits again, as long as they went back to the QoS cut and fit. Those were about perfect IMHO. But I would like to see a return to the mixing of brands we saw in Casino Royale and, to a lesser extent, SF. Turnbull & Asser shirts and ties, dunhill cufflinks, etc. They clould certainly mix in some lesser known "boutique" brands while they're at it, like they've done with Billy Reid or N.Peal.

    I'd also like to see Bond return to the Caribbean, with some TB style scuba diving. So that's a place where OB and Sunspel could easily return.

    But in general, fewer suits and more classic men's casual looks please.

    All in for mixing brands but I wouldn't want Bond to not wear as many suits.
    A proper balance of suits and casual outfits should be kept.
    The Regency cut was good but Temine designed the O'Connor cut herself. All responsibility for the ill-fitting suits is on her and Craig.

    In no particular order, I've refined my wishlist.
    (1) Safari jacket (matching trousers optional)
    (2) Black peak lapel dinner suit
    (3) An single-breasted odd jacket to top the Cucinelli one
    (4) Double-breasted MOP/Metal button blazer with slacks
    (4) Navy chesterfield
    (5) Grenadine Tie/Interesting tie patterns (not as loud as Brozzers but I would settle for stripes)
    (6) Different straps for the wristwatch in accord with the occasion (Nato with black tie seems a bit inappropriate)/Imaginative clothing-related gadgets
    (7) Cocktail cuffed shirts/Could settle for interesting cufflinks
    (8) Double breasted suit, as Daniel's Bond has IWB which would be easier to reach in a DB
    (9) Commander's uniform
    (10) Pinstripe 3 piece suit
    (11) A good leather jacket/Navy (or light blue) polo
    (12) No TF-everything. We get it, he's a sponsor but Craig's Bond doesn't buy everything from there
    a reasonable rate of return

    I think SF had the right distribution and usage of brands for the character. As in TF's presence was relegated to only suiting beyond the Markos and the Scotland scarf. Mostly everything else was from an English brand. Compared to QOS and SP where it seems like 75% or so of the wardrobe was TF.

    Agreed on the balance in SF, also a nice leather jacket would be great.

    I think that TF has the suiting game for Bond, but not everything else.

    I'll be happy with wearable casual pieces that don't break the bank like the Converse and Sunspel from CR and the J Crew Kenton's from SP.

    Would love to see him in another Windsor suit. The wide lapels are beautiful and I thought (let the controversy begin) that the funeral suit was the most beautiful suit in the movie. The signature cut of TF fit DC beautifully and although flashy, Craig pulled it off with supreme confidence. Loved it. Would be AMAZING to bring back the Regency cut from TF. But I doubt it. After a trip to TF today, I found out it was possible to have a Regency suit made, but it won't be cheap... -{

    I think that was because Craig personally wanted them back to continue their relationship established in QOS, so she didn't have much choice.

    Have long been wanting to see DC's Bond in his Commander uniform.

    Perhaps a pre-title sequence aboard a (fictional) new Royal Navy aircraft carrier being launched (on topic, given HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales are being introduced). E.g. attempted terrorist attack, SPECTRE and Blofeld behind it (if we continue down the Blofeld route).

    Would love to see Brigitte Millar back and more of her than we did in SP. In more of an Irma Bunt role. Anyway, I digress..

    Bond in nice fitting suits
    Bond in a wetsuit
    Bring back the Shawl Cardigan. This is the one piece that I always associate with DC's Bond. His signature wardrobe item. In the same way the Safari Jacket belongs to Roger.
    Dents gloves
    Royal Navy Regimental tie perhaps?
    Another nice piece of cashmere from N Peal
    "Any of the opposition around..?"

    Besides TF and Omega which are both pretty much guaranteed to return. I think the other brands that we could likely see return are Crockett & Jones, N.Peal and Dents. Hopefully this is the case so we can further establish some brand continuity with Craig's portrayal.

    Yeah they need to work on that a lot, and that while limited edition thing was ridiculous, Id prefer it if we didn't have limited edition clothing, fine if something is genuinely a one off or ultra rare.
