Topic: Ursula Andress autograph? Where?

So where can I get a 100% legit Ursula Andress autograph? I had my hopes up on ebay, but after researching that on here... and reading about ebay sellers..seems it comes with some doubt.

Although, I will say Alex from bond Collectibles talked to me quite a bit and seems convincing enough. Who knows..

Bondstars seems like the go to, but they don't have Ursula Andress.

So... where else do I go?

Thanks.

Re: Ursula Andress autograph? Where?

Hi there, i collect boxing programmes and am downsizing my Collection. I have a programme from Nov. 1965 obtained at Leicester Square Odeon where the Cassius Clay v Floyd Patterson world heavyweight title fight was being shown live from the USA. There is an Ursula Andress autograph on the front cover of the prog which was obtained by the chap who sold me this prog. He says he and his father went to the Odeon to watch the Fight and U.A. was sitting in the seat in front!! In the 1960's celebrities would often attend these Fights. She kindly signed his prog.. I know this example is slightly unusual but please let me know if its of interest. adchas

Isn't she still alive? Wonder if she does signings... Or if anyone has tried snail mail?

Re: Ursula Andress autograph? Where?

Bondcollectibles are responsible for selling more forgeries on eBay than any other 007 related dealer. Avoid Alex at all costs because his forgeries are very good and it's almost impossible to tell the difference with a real one.

She is now almost blind so it will be very unlikely that she will do any more shows.

Your best bet is the official Rittenhouse autographed cards, or an autograph with proof or from the show organiser themselves.

If you are going to buy from a dealer, focus on ones that are official UACC or AFTAL dealers, or a collector who has a clear history about the item they are selling.

Avoid bondcollectibles ebay at all costs, unless you purchase from his website, which is his personal collection (hence the reason for high prices), but even then he has fakes like Dolores Keator, she never signed for him.

Just to protect ajb007.co.uk, this post is my views entirely and not ajb007.co.uk.

For a minute there, I thought you were talking about me... well, that sucks that he and I share a first name...   ajb007/lol

Personally, it's only worth it to me to get an auto directly from the person so I have a memory to go with the souvenir autograph. That's too bad about Andress though, did she only use to do UK based conventions?

Sorry Alex  ajb007/lol

She has done a show in the UK and I believe a couple of events in Europe but it's been a long while since has done one last sadly

Re: Ursula Andress autograph? Where?

I met her at Autographica in Birmingham some 10 plus years ago or so and even then her eyesight was said to be bad. That was the last UK event I recall her attending.
