Bond commandeered ( ajb007/wink ) a Bronco II in QoS.

I guess that sort of counts.

Oddly enough an 8 Series appeared in TND, which makes for 2 BMW V12s in the same movie.

Considering how bankrupt you can become from owning one of these, I'd veer away from it, no matter how sweet owning a V12 for at most 10k must feel like.

Bronco 2 - nice one!

I guess you could also include older Range Rovers as he's driven about in a few.

It may just be me but I've never really been a BMW fan and I didn't like that particular product placement.

I have to agree. I loved the Saab 900s back in the 80s.

For sure Saab 900 Classic. Here is a picture of mine. I went for the convertible. So not quite the silver arrow....

I remember once my Brother's Saab 900  rolled down the small hill outside our house. It hit a perimeter wall !

I always coveted the saab 900 Turbo as a boy, my favourite was the carlsson limited edition,  fantastic,  unfortunately my experience with the marque was not good, I had a saab 93 2.0t convertible aero, I loved the car but I had to replace the engine twice,  first time it went was just 23 miles after collecting it from the dealer, it never felt right after the first engine swaps.
Mine was the same as the pic below but in blue with a blue soft top

Re: Which 'budget' Bond car would you choose from?

I had a BMW Z3 last year. A 2.8 litre straight 6 engine it went like sheeite off a shovel! Such a great car. I bought it for a road trip holiday that involved driving from London to Troyes, then to Lake Annecy, up over the Alps and down to the Italian & French Riviera before sticking it on the car train back to Paris. Unfortunately it wasn't metallic blue, rather a dark green. Gutted I sold it! It only cost me £2500, I may have to get another ajb007/smile

I'd like a Z3, but not so much because of the Bond connections; more because you can make it into one of these:

Nice, thanks for sharing that looks amazing - although I suspect the conversion may be a little over a 'budget car'!!

Yup, love a Saab; has one as a company car ages ago and it was a blast. Saab’s demise was a sad day.

Although Saab was loved by many, here in Finland, for being a robust an dependable winter car (no car ever warmed up faster than Saab). It was usually still mentioned that " Saabismi on sairautta" or "Saabism is a sickness".
