Going on the OB site, it looks like almost everything (other than the swim trunks) has sold out or gotten close.  Any word as to another wave coming?  Considering how successful this first wave was, I'd be surprised if we didn't get more.

Next year timing appears to be getting linked to the release of No Time to Die or so I’ve been told.

Interesting.  Wonder if there'll be NTTD merch in there as well, then.

Re: Brown, Orlebar Brown

Cary Fukunaga was possibly wearing a pink OB camp collar shirt during filming in Matera.

Orlebar Brown has a big presence in NTTD, but who would have thought it would be on the director and not on Bond?

Indeed.  No sign of OB on Bond yet

I was just perusing Matt Spaiser's fantastic blog, the Suits of James Bond, and happened on this post from a few years ago:

What struck me is that several of the offenders Matt cites were the inspirations behind OB's biggest hits this summer!

It's almost as if Orlebar Brown took this post as a challenge and said, "We're going to take a few of these monstrosities and make them work."

Matt, your blog has taught me so much about men's style: things I wish I'd learned two decades ago. I am in your debt.

Suits of Bond and other style sources may act like style is timeless but it isn't. What looks good and seems 'timeless' in one era looks terrible in another.

For instance, for the last 10 years or so i've thought that the casual clothing in TLD was horrid. Specifically this outfit: https://bamfstyle.files.wordpress.com/2 … 1-jkt1.jpg

But I noticed last week that this outfit now looks incredibly stylish and great. I've also notiecd that slim fits I see everywhere look horrible when only recently did I love them.

I get that there's a middle ground where timeless might sit - but even what that middle ground actually is varies a lot.

Even since that 2017 article on suits of Bond style has shifted a LOT. OB's stuff kinda represents how our style is changing right now.
