Bond Posters Printed on Wood?

Greetings all! Does anyone know about Bond poster art printed on wood? Someone in my area is selling a “vintage” DN poster that he says is not even printed on poster paper but directly on wood. The measurement of the frame (and not the actual art work) is 19” x 15”. I’m wondering if it’s actually mounted on wood in a way that makes it appear that it’s printed on directly. Of course I would hope it’s an original poster from the period, though that would be incredible if that’s the case. Thank you.
