    What right thinking person wouldn't want that safari suit?

    That GoldenEye PTS outfit is a fake! Not even close to the one Trevelyan let alone Bond wore in these scenes. Somebody should inform the vendor...

    Actually I'd keep away from a lot of these items. TND is labeled with 1995 and the GoldenEye Parker is always a risk. I own two of them, you'll never be able to tell if THAT'S the one used in production.

    I did think it looked dodgy! Thos collars, especially.

    Brosnan didn't even wear a one piece-overall. He wore black pants, a customized m65-style jacket (which as a matter of fact I do own in my personal collection) and the custom made vest.

    Collar's totally off, as are the zippers and pockets. The vest is missing the pocket for the suppressed PPK and is overall totally different.

    It really is a shame as you would think that these vendors would actually do SOME research before putting these items up for sale at such high prices.

    The Moonraker skirt and Carver's suit look genuine tho... :#

    In all fairness to the vendor, I believe this costume was originally sold through Bonhams by Angels the Costumiers and is labelled Pierce Brosnan however I purchased the assault vest from the same auction and that was labelled Sean Bean where it was 100% Pierce Brosnan's. The difference is Bean's ensemble was made up of simulated ammunition pockets where Brosnan's had smaller pockets with the front taken up by the holster for the Piton Gun/suppressed PPK. It also had a HALO pocket on the back for Wayne Michael's usage for the PTS bungee jump -{

    I really dig that they state „contains empty ink cartridge“, like that proves anything.

    My one does also, so I guess I too have a screen used one here :007)

    This auction has some incredible items. I love seeing the details of the Octopussy safari suit. I knew Frank Foster had made the shirt, but I wondered if Hayward or Bermans made the trousers. Now I know Hayward did. But I questions if the suit is actually linen. It doesn't wrinkle at all in the film. Foster told me it was worsted wool (and his wife who sewed it said cashmere).

    Looks like the tactical vest worn by Carver's men in TND's finale.

    Nice find, walther p99 -{

    So they only got Stamper‘s vest. Still a cool collectible but ditch the overall and cut a few ‚0‘s...

    Mad mad mad results:

    $400k for Graham Rye's restored Moon Buggy + $112k buyers premium! :(
    $60K for the Shark Gun
    $80k for a Moonraker shuttle miniature
    $20k for another Moonraker shuttle miniature
    $16k for Stromberg's gun
    $2k (peanuts) for the stunt OHMSS fibreglass STGW57 rifle (gutted I had no way to bring that into the UK apart from joining a reenactment society courtesy of the stupid f**king VCR bill which was drafted by knob ends! Equally gutted that I stood down on it because someone else who was already in the US wanted it then didn't bid on it) ....Bugger it! X-(
    The YOLT stunt Thompson machine gun failed to sell for the second time (gutted about that too!) :#
