Looks like Henry Cavil is rocking a familiar watch...thought he was under contract with Jaeger?

Re: No Time To Die Omega Ltd Editions

If you ever read an interview with Cavill, it’s obvious that he genuinely cares about the characters that he plays, and he does his homework to understand their history. He also takes care of himself all of the time, not just when he’s prepping for a film. As a result, he would have the chance to be convincing well into his 50s. He’s not a great actor, but if we’re being honest only Connery and Dalton are better among those who have played Bond. EON could do far worse.

Re: No Time To Die Omega Ltd Editions

It’s more than acting with Bond though. You need to have screen presence and charisma.  HC is unfortunately devoid of both on screen and is exceptionally wooden.  I like the fella, but he couldn’t do Bond.

Daniel Craig is now on his fifth Bond film, proving that you need neither screen presence nor charisma to play Bond. ajb007/tongue

But Cavill is indeed wooden, on a level we've never seen before with Bond. He has no chance of getting the role, so I'm not worried.

Re: No Time To Die Omega Ltd Editions

Anyway any more news on the release of the SA Omega watch rather than discuss Henry Cavill

Re: No Time To Die Omega Ltd Editions

Let’s not leave Mr Cavill just yet...
He appears to be wearing the 43.5mm Ceramic/Titanium No-Date Seamaster (nice!) which retails at £6.5K. If the NTTD Watch is a variation of this model this would indicate a price point around £7K???

Omega will whack more than a £500 Bond premium on it I think.. ajb007/crap

Well, i think we know it’s not going to be Ceramic or a limited edition so it might be lower...

The question is are they going to produce Titanium models or was that just a special for Daniel Craig?

If they are producing it in titanium the watch will be $8500+ US

Re: No Time To Die Omega Ltd Editions

The brown suits titanium better because of the darker material.  It’ll look worse in steel.

A new limited edition set for the OHMSS Seasmaster. Released in a Globe-Trotter suitcase, only 257 have been created.

Paperbill,I wouldn't be surprised if the NTTD Seamaster is released in titanium.

Re: No Time To Die Omega Ltd Editions

Spoke to an Omega boutique today, inquiring about the NTTD watch. They said there’s an announcement to be made tomorrow, followed by the opening of pre-orders. It’s estimated to retail around $9k which makes me think it’s made of titanium with maybe some Sedna gold. They also didn’t expect it to be a numbered edition, so it should be as available as the more recent Seamasters! Guess we’ll find out soon!
