So this is the new thread.

Please make sure that everybody has their BluRay/DVD ( in the case of Barbel VCR) ready and start the player latest 20:00 GMT to get done with all the dodgy menus.

PAUSE YOUR PLAYER RIGHT BEFORE THE GUNBARELL SEQUENCE STARTS AND HIT PLAY PRECISELY AT 20:10.

I‘ll post some timecodes during the thread just incase that somebody has messed it up.

No theft intended, Gymkata. Just the usual old man references!

Does anybody have a special snack/drink that they have when watching a 007 movie?
Any drinking games like one shot everytime the line „my name is Bond“ comes up?

Chateau Angelus. Or Bolly, with a bourbon starter.

I noticed a good one last time I watched the film:
Bond and Quarrel beach the boat at Crab Key almost precisely at the 1:00:00 hour mark.
Ursula Andress enters approx one minute later.

20:00 GMT but we are in summer time so do you mean BST ?
  • HigginsHiggins GermanyPosts: 16,618MI6 Agent
    good question:

Please keep in mind that GMT is NOT the current DST in London.

    https://24timezones.com/zeitzone/gmt

So for everybody in the UK, the event starts at 21:00/21:10 BST

Higgins, have you given any thought to how the two of us can sneak as much politics as possible into the DN live feed? :D

Brilliant idea. Barbel has informed me that pms don't work for the time of the feed because of bandwidth issues :D

About to head to bed, readying myself for a 7am Bond watch. No weekend sleep-ins over here!

One thing that I don't believe has been discussed—will we be having an intermission? Is there any good spots around the middle of the film between scenes that one would work? Thinking I might need a bit of a break to make a quick breakfast...and some of our elder members might need at least one loo break ;)
