I’m in the UK and have had a couple of bottles of these for a week or so now. They look really nice/quality, so have just ordered 6 more as I think they’ll make great gifts.

The wine retailer I got them from said that they had sold out of their first 50 cases in days but he’s just managed to get some more. So it appears they are selling fast.

Key thing is that it’s not just the normal Bolly in a different box, but that the detail on the bottle is 007 labelled as well.

May even try one this weekend.
    Yes. Considerably.

Has anyone had the 2011 NTTD Bollinger? I considered it for the upcoming holidays, but read that 2011 wasn’t much of a year for champagne and went with the 2012 grand année instead.

It was mediocre. I think you made the better choice.

Agreed! The box is great - but the drink was pretty tasteless and instantly forgettable.

Just seeing this thread, but how were you able to get these so quickly? I tried to “pre order” at my local wine store and they still haven’t gotten them.

    Houston, we got a problem!!!
As I was ready to pack and QC-ing the items - I discovered the bottles are the regular type and no 007 markings - anyone got the same thing?
    IMG-3745.jpg
Could anybody who actually got the 007 marked bottle post up an image of what it should looks like?
Not sure if this is US specific - I already contacted the distributer and awaiting their respond.

There's one on Ebay UK with the correct bottle:

Also noticed that the red multi-boxes they came in are not branded '007' in any way. Up to now, Bollinger does usually like to mark these boxes as well.

I'm in the UK and ordered 7 more bottles as gifts, so got a case of 6 plus 1 extra.

The external red casing for the 6 has no mention of 007 at all, apart from a yellow sticker on one end that lists as '007 Limited Edition' - but that is purely for picking/warehouse purposes and is not 'artistic' in any way.

However, all of the bottles in the case are boxed correctly and have the 007 livery on the bottles.

Sorry to hear that your's don't have it :(

BTW, I could resist temptation no longer and opened a bottle on Tuesday. To me, it tasted very, very good and a marked improvement on the release last year in the fancy box!
    Yes. Considerably.

BTW, my boxes were sealed with Bollinger tape (can be seen in the picture above) - only one is opened for now and I don't think I will open the other one until I hear from my Bollinger rep.
So it must have come out just like that from the Bollinger - not good :(

    Was yours correct?

I've been checking every week for these locally.. if I ever come across one I'll def check it.

That really depends on the champagne and the vintage.

The special cuvee NV, no...no reason at all not to pop and enjoy now.

True. And it can also get worse too. It’s a gamble. Complicated question to answer properly.

By the way, seems the US were not scheduled to get any of these 007 bottles - but I am really hoping they will comply to our request - we will see
