I want to say it's TMWTGG based in the last two numbers being the same, but the Ts don't work, and I can't see how a mathematical progression would work... 
As there's six numbers I'm guessing each number corresponds to a Bond actor perhaps.

It's not the safe-cracking code from OHMSS or YOLT, or Drax's safe code or lab keypad code in MR.

But well done, I was wondering who'd be the first to spot that...
Now, I have enjoyed a bottle of white Marlborough Sav Blanc but looking back on this thread and the last few posts, I've no bloody idea who is right and wrong.
Emtiem is the winner because he pointed out how I was wrong on the 1980s number and therefore Higgins loses by default as he didn't point it out!! Perhaps Higgins was being nice because he mistakenly thought he'd offended me on another thread.
It's too much for a Friday night.
