I have a pair of his jeans from GWDT and they are skin tight. He is not a big guy at all very slim in fact. Muscle can make you look bigger than you actually are but also more compact for clothing. The better shape i am in the slimmer clothes i can wear but when your top is off your muscles actually make you look bigger than you actually are....not sure i am explaining myself correctly!
If Craig is a 46 US in the chest then I’m the next President of the US. If any publication out there said 46 it could have meant 46 Euro sizing making him a 36 US. But with him adding some muscle for the role I wouldn’t be shocked if he came in to the filmings being closer to a otr 40 jacket US, in the chest/shoulders only, because of the muscle gains in the chest and the shoulders, but wore closer to a 38 to get the SA look we see.

(firstly, what I'm about to say is not "body-shaming" I know that is frowned upon)
I work in the fitness industry and I can tell you that any amount or (layer) of fat on top of muscle is going to force you to size up in clothing, and sometimes at quite an alarming rate. The best way I can describe it is try slipping on your barbour skyfall jacket with only a t-shirt on (or another jacket that you have that's slim fit) then try putting that same jacket on with a t-shirt AND a big chunky thick winter sweater, you're probably thinking you now need to go up a size or 2. Craig usually leans out quite a bit for the Bond role, and yes, you can have muscle and definition without being "huge". My friend from England actually met DC once at a hotel, they chatted some about his diet and what he would eat for his role in Bond, what he could and couldn't have. But when I asked him how he looked, he described him looking like "a dad who hits the gym a couple times a week". But he didn't look like a body-builder at all or anything like that.
Daniel Craig was his biggest in Casino Royale and he wore 50R/40R in Brioni. All the other Bond films he wore 48R/38R. Not sure about No time to die though.

I'd only make the minor correction that DC wore a 40/50 in QoS. At least that was the size of the suit we've seen from auctions.

If that's true then he should have stayed with 50. Those suits fit him the best in my opinion.
Any chance TF would do a special run on the Regency fit? It’s a shame it was discontinued.
I was lucky enough to build my relatiinship with TF so high that they did agree to reprise the regency fit specially for me.
But it was a bit of a battle
CD's TF suits in most of the bond movies are not well fitted at all! Clearly he sizes down from what would be his natural size. A savile row tailor certainly would not let him leave the store with the suit pulling in as many parts as in the majority of his bond movies.
Oddly enough when I sold me’s suits a few years back, 2-3 years ago, we had tons of people asking for a fit that is too tight ala Skyfall. No matter how big or small they were they wanted it to fit like that, but they didn’t want it to feel right.

Was watching an episode of Yellowstone today while working out, Kevin Costner's character, who wears some very nice western style clothes in the show, had on a jacket in one of the closing scenes that was very stylishly similar to the Solden jacket from Spectre. Same quilted look front, sweater/knitted sleves and back, very nice and looked to be high quality. Anyboy got a clue how one could find any info on it? Might make for a nice alternative.

I think I saw a story about another character's jacket from that show. It was on a site like Gearpatrol, HiConsumption, or TheCoolector. Which in turn linked to the manufacturer. It might be possible that the jackets are the same manufacturer.
If that doesn't turn anything up, do a search for best field jackets. I was looking for Bond's jacket in the opening of Never Say Never Again and found a bunch of men's clothing sites that I would look over to see if they were worth noting. That's when I saw the story about the Yellowstone jacket.
Great idea, here is the address if anyone is interested and one pic just so you can see what I'm talking about. The pics make it look greenish but I'm pretty sure it is black.

Just an FYI and an opinion, I got the LL Bean wooly pully and for 68 dollars, it is a really good option for people who can’t stomach the price of the N. Peal version
I've received the Graham Jacket in Olive so can compare it to the Blue. One or both will have to go back. The Olive is £31 cheaper and I'm thinking the colour might be a bit more versatile with blue jeans etc.

I think what Bond Ambitions was suggesting was also to move the discussion of the Yellowstone jacket out of the NTTD wardrobe thread since, if anything, it harkens back to Spectre.

So its far removed for a standard rtw tf suit
1. CR. 2. TSWLM. 3. LTK. 4. GF. 5. SF.
I always assumed he would be about a 40"+ chest so interesting that some of the suits were 38.

Yup. Not only do they fit him best I'd argue QoS was the best fitted Bond since OHMSS.
Agreed. Both represent the peak in Bond’s tailoring for me.

Is that what it's really called internally, a "cliché" fee? Too funny.
