I left a long response to an article Someone shared in the "Craig is Back" thread. I've moved it to the "Black James Bond" thread to bump it up and see if that's a better place to discuss that topic.
Good! Perhaps the thread title should be changed to Black and/or female 007"?

I'm pretty sure in the Prince Charles visit video DC says they're building five, so eight is, well, a lot! I wonder when they'll be shipped to Italy? It's three weeks till filming starts.

Just because the photo was released today it doesn't mean it was taken today: they may well be on their way already.
I'm curious to know what that mismatching V8 on the left is all about. Is the numberplate photoshopped on?

Woah... Can not wait to see the DB5's in action!
Guessing the 1.5 million GBP Valhalla is just going to be used for an arrival or background...I don't see Aston throwing five cars production's way to get destroyed in a chase. Or maybe I'm wrong and that's why the picture is set up like it is—the DB5 and Vantage are going to be somehow chasing the Valhalla? ) Edit: Oops, getting my cars mixed up—it's the Valhalla, not the Valkyrie.
I'm interested as the how the Valhalla will be involved. I can't see Bond driving such an extreme (perhaps even outlandish) looking car on the public road.
I personally would have preferred to see Bond just stick to driving the V8 Vantage throughout the film, although clearly the DB5 is going to feature far more heavily based on the number that they are building, including with stunt driver position on the rooftop.

Yeah I'd prefer the V8 to be doing a stunt sequence too, but I guess there's a plot reason why the DB5 gets more action. I guess the mismatching V8 on the left might be being prepared for a stunt driver as its roof is covered.
I think the Valhalla will play small role and won't be involved in anything too strenuous or risky. Aston Martin only have one Valhalla in existence presently and even that one is far from the finished article.

I tend to agree, although then I remember that they made the DB10s entirely just for Bond last time, so anything's possible!
(They were based on the Vantage model though, whereas this is an entirely new mid-engined layout for them, so probably would be harder to make lots of).
And besides, looks like they have enough on their plate what with making those DB5s and preparing the V8s!
Maybe the scottish castle will be location to a party hosted by the villain and Bond and a girl use it as ride for their cover. I'm strongly leaning towards "Nightfire" with this argument.
I have come to the conclusion that scene 155 near Hammersmith bridge with Bond, M and Tanner is not just towards the end of Act two, but is the end of the second act for Bond25.
Scene 155 should be at 108 minutes, 1h 48 mins, with each scene averaging 42 seconds.
With a 2h 20min film, that would leave 32mins left for the third act. That would fit well with the other DC films' third act lengths, see below, which would average, 28 minutes.
Casino Royale's second act ends with Mr White killing Le Chiffre at 1h 53mins, 27 minutes before the end at 2h 20mins.
Quantum's second act ends with Bond escaping M's men after he is taken into custody at 1h 20mins, 26 minutes before the end at 1h 41mins.
Skyfall's second act ends with Bond driving to Skyfall Lodge with M at 1h 42mins, 36 minutes (51 scenes) before the 2h 18min end.
Spectre's second act ends with the meteor crater base explosion at 1h 57mins, 24 minutes (34 scenes) before the 2h 21 end.
Spectre had 14 boards to get to a scene that far along, Skyfall had 20.
I say that there may be a few more Bond25 clapperboards because Spectre and Skyfall both had boards from the third act. Skyfall had six third act clapperboards and its final two boards were for scenes 165A and 165K. You can see what we now know is the burning Skyfall Lodge behind them.
Spectre had just one, scene 197A, with the Palace of Westminster in the background at night. We now know that was the Blofeld helicopter crash scene. Scene 197 (with each scene averaging 42 seconds) would be 2h 17mins into Spectre, and that is where Bond confronts Blofeld on Westminster bridge. Further confirmation of the 42 second scene average hypothesis.
Bond25's latest clapperboard was scene 155. Skyfall and Spectre had similarly placed scenes, 147 and 136, respectively.
Spectre's scene 136 may have been cut as it comes only four scenes after 132 (which is clearly the kitchen carriage on the train when Bond fights Hinx), and it appears to show a motorbike in what must be Q's lab from the red brick behind it.
Skyfall's scene 147 is part of the Skyfall Lodge battle.
As I have speculated before (https://www.ajb007.co.uk/post/954169/#p954169), the next clapperbard maybe in the 180s. It maybe the last clapperboard, it maybe one of a few, with maybe another in the 190s.
On The Bond Experience's Instagram account the latest story shows a picture of the Valhalla at a place called Laggan, which is just down the road from the Scottish castle.
It just looks really odd seeing a super car (that looks like a hyper car) like the Valhalla casually driving down a Scottish country road (even though it is Aston Martin’s intention for it to be “more usable as an everyday car”)
Look closely, the helicopter on the back of the yacht is different to the one being filmed in flight.
They're not supposed to be the same helicopters. Those are 2 different locations. There aren't many docked yachts in the Scottish Highlands
Yes, I understand that, but how many black Spectre helicopters are you going to get in a film? The black helicopter filmed in the highlands, yes, that will be in the film. BTW it's a different type to the helicopter Blofeld had at the end of Spectre.
But, who is this guy claiming they have been filming Bond25 in Split, Croatia for 3 days? Maybe there will be another helicopter but I am not convinced that his tweet is legit. He hasn't responded to any comments on his tweet BTW.

And you know the helicopter being filmed in Scotland is connected to Spectre how?
The lead helicopter [G-OPOT] is an Agusta A109S, also know as A109 Grand
The chase helicopter [G-INTV] is an Aerospatiale AS 355F2 Ecureuil 2
G-OPOT is the helicopter within Cary's Instagram story "Sunday Morning Commute" flying up to Scotland 21 July.

Deduction.
FRWL Spectre has a helicopter at Spectre island and a Spectre helicopter attacks Bond.
YOLT Spectre helicopter flies in and out of the volcano lair.
OHMSS Blofled's Orange helicopter.
FYEO Spectre has a remote control helicopter Bond takes control of.
Skyfall Spectre member Silva attacks Skyfall Lodge with a helicopter.
Spectre Bond kills Sciarra and his pilot and takes their helicopter, Bond and Madeleine escape from the meteor crater base in a helicopter, Blofeld has a helicopter over London.

Yes, isn't the Valhalla another visual cue that Lynch is part of a very modern MI6 and Bond is old school with his DB5 and Vantage?
Is that just a guess on your part or is there some info that supports that as fact? Not being a wiseguy, just curious.
It’s just a guess, but I think it’s an educated one based on what we know. And Aston has been a bit cheeky saying this is “007’s” new car.

Can this be a splinter film unit doing exterior shots? Is that likely?

This marine vessel tracking site says that Samar had come from Italy. Coincidence?

I think the G-OPOT is actually the AW109 GrandNew as it has those stubby wings at the back of the fuselage.
